A for-sale sign went up this week in front of The Daily Herald’s building near the Everett waterfront. The Washington Post Co. still owns the property that stradles Marine View Drive following its sale of the newspaper to Sound Publishing in March. The Herald will be relocating to a new home in Everett, the Frontier Building at 1800 41st St., early next year.
Meantime, the newspaper is holding a garage sale Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of California Street and Grand Avenue. All of the proceeds raised will go to The Herald Editorial Scholarship Fund through the Greater Everett Community Foundation.
