If Everett officials grant the request and the property remains still undeveloped, The Buzz can see several cinematic uses for the mill site:
The setting for a "Mad Max"-type post-apocalyptic movie thriller;
A stand-in for the American Southwest of the 1870s. Some tumbleweeds would have to be brought in;
The set for NASA's next faked moon landing.
Land shark: Couldn't get enough "Sharknado?" Now comes "Ghost Shark," another cheeseball TV yarn about a great white killing machine on the SyFy channel. The gimmick here is that the title character hunts on land as well as in the sea.
Spoiler alert: As old-school "Saturday Night Live" viewers will recall, the killer gains entry into victims' homes by announcing "Candygram."
