PORTLAND, Ore. — The woman accused of felony hit-and-run in a crash that injured a Portland bicyclist has had her license suspended four times.
The Oregonian newspaper reported that 29-year-old Miriam Ann Clinton of Lake Oswego has also accumulated 12 citations since 2007.
Clinton pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Friday. She turned herself in a day earlier after an anonymous tip led investigators to a black 2011 Subaru Legacy at a body shop.
The injured bicyclist, Henry Schmidt, broke both his legs and sustained other injuries in the collision that occurred a week ago near the Capitol Highway ramp.
The driver’s next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 6.
