Awareness is growing about the threats invasive plants pose to our ecosystems.
But knowing invasive plants are a problem is one thing. Getting rid of them is another.
Teri Dunn Chace provides guidance in her book "Eradicate Invasive Plants."
Chace offers strategies for tackling dozens of weeds and other plants, including troublesome invaders such as Japanese knotweed, purple loosestrife and kudzu.
She doesn't always promise easy solutions; in fact, in some cases she warns you'll be in for a battle. But she does provide both chemical and less toxic options and offers suggestions on timing your attack to get the best results.
"Eradicate Invasive Plants" sells for $24.95 in paperback.
