You can already feel it in the air. It’s fall. Time for new ventures.
Why not satisfy your creative urges with an art project? Classes start Friday at Schack Art Center.
Consider one of the trendy Arty Hour classes: a glass of wine, some snacks and a project. In addition to several watercolor classes, Arty Hour offers sessions on decorating a wine or pint glass with enamel paint; learning book-binding techniques using cloth and decorative papers; and assembling a “talisman” pendant. Arty Hour classes are actually three hours, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays at Schack, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
More classes cover glass-blowing; jewelry-making, including working with metal; basketry; and holiday workshops.
Classes start at $45 and run to more than $300 for advanced glass blowing. The schedule runs through December. To find out more, register for a class or download the brochure, go to www.schack.org, call 425-259-5050 or stop in at Schack.
