Talk about bullying
Sno-Isle Libraries presents its next series in the Issues That Matter forums with three community discussions this month on the topic of bullying.
The first forum on bullying is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Lake Stevens High School, 2908 113th Ave. NE. Similar forums are set for Sept. 19 at Henry M. Jackson High School, 1508 136th St. SE in Mill Creek, and Sept. 26 at Coupeville High School, 501 S. Main St.
Panelists will take questions from the public. Seating is limited. The events are free and no registration is required.

Orchestra seeks players: Music Hall Community Orchestra is seeking additional string and wind players. Rehearsals are from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays at the Music Hall next to Macy’s in the Everett Mall. All comers welcome. More info: Call 360-926-8687
Walk benefits Alzheimer’s Association: The Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s is set for Sept. 8 at the Port of Everett, 1205 Craftsman Way. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., with an opening ceremony at 9:45 a.m. followed by the start of the walk at 10 a.m.
In 2012, the Snohomish County walk raised $31,911 for research and awareness.
