A police pursuit that began in south Snohomish County on Monday night ended in the Kirkland area a short time later.
Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies spotted a stolen car being driven in the area of Lincoln Way and Airport Road about 8:15 p.m., spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
A chase continued into north King County and at some point ended after the stolen car began driving into oncoming lanes, Ireton said. The stolen car was stopped after being rammed by a police vehicle in what’s commonly called a “PIT maneuver.”
As of 8:45 p.m., two men in their 30s had been detained and were taken to a hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported.
No additional details were made available Monday evening.
