EVERETT — Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a chlorine-related explosion in north Everett.
It happened about 9:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of E. Marine View Drive, Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson said.
The pool maintenance man was doing some work with the chlorine at the time, Robinson said. It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the explosion, but some of the chlorine splashed on the man.
He and another employee were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for evaluation of chemical exposure.
