EVERETT — A man who was shot and wounded by police in Edmonds on Saturday has been released from the hospital and booked into the county jail.
Aaron Eckley, 27, was being held Wednesday for investigation of assault, according to police. He allegedly leveled a rifle at officers during a confrontation on Puget Drive.
Eckley spent several days recovering at a Seattle hospital.
The Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team is investigating, as is standard in cases where officers use potentially fatal force.
