Teacher's python missing inside Issaquah High School
KING-TV reported that the snake named "Hamilton" apparently pushed the top off a glass tank in a biology classroom at Issaquah High School and escaped Tuesday night.
Teachers and students have been looking for the snake since Wednesday morning. Animal control was also called to help. School officials think the snake could still be somewhere in the classroom.
Assistant Principal Derek Heinz said the non-venomous snake doesn't pose a threat to students.
Beyond that, he said that assuming Hamilton is found safe and sound, "I don't know that we'll be bringing him back."
