If it ain’t Boeing, the prez ain’t going: Airbus said it does not plan to submit a bid to build the next Air Force One jetliner, making the Boeing Co. the only contender for the contract.
That’s certainly bad news for the Obama girls, who were looking forward to moving their airborne bedrooms upstairs and away from their parents in an Air Force One based on Airbus’ multiple-level A380.
