ARLINGTON — An autopsy has found that an Arlington woman died from smoke inhalation during a fire at her home Saturday.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Wednesday that Pamela S. Carbiener’s death was an accident. She was 50.
Her body was found after the house fire in the 16000 block of Jim Creek Road on Saturday.
A neighbor reported the fire shortly before 9 p.m.
By the time firefighters were able to reach the two-story wood home on a hillside, there was little they could do.
