Forecasters predicted a blustery, rainy start to fall Sunday, with the potential for winds blowing down tree limbs throughout Western Washington.
Southerly winds could reach up 22 mph in the Everett area with gusts of up to 31 mph, the National Weather Service in Seattle predicted.
There’s a 90 percent chance of rain, which could total a half inch. A high of 64 degrees and a low of 55 degrees is predicted for the area.
A cold front is forecast to arrive Sunday evening, dropping mountain snow levels to around 5,500 feet.
Nighttime temperatures in Everett could dip into the low 40s by mid-week.
