Outfielder Travis Snider was one of 25 players on the Pittsburgh Pirates’ postseason roster for Tuesday’s National League wild-card playoff game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Snider, a former Jackson High School standout, hit .215 with five home runs and 25 RBI in 111 games with the Pirates this season.
Should Snider play in Tuesday’s game — he was not Pittsburgh’s starting lineup — it would be the first postseason appearance of his six-year major-league career.
