SNOHOMISH — Stanwood redeemed its consolation championship match loss from last year’s tournament by defeating Holy Names Academy in three sets by the score of 21-25, 25-18, 15-13 to win the Reach the Peak Invite held at Glacier Peak high school on Saturday.
The Spartans defeated Mount Vernon and Lynden Christian to get to the championship match.
In the consolation semi’s bracket, Sumner swept Everett 25-17, 25-16 and Woodinville came from behind to defeat Cascade in three sets 23-25, 29-27, 15-11 on their way to the consolation championship.
