As you might have imagined, the Stealth stayed on top of NLL Insider Brian Shanahan’s weekly NLL Power Rankings with a 12-9 win over Minnesota on Friday.
The Toronto Rock, featuring former Stealth captain Colin Doyle, are at No. 2 with a 5-1 record. Unfortunately, Washington and Toronto have no scheduled match ups in the regular season.
Orlando sits at No. 3 with a 3-1.
Speaking of Doyle, the forward reached a career milestone on Saturday as Toronto beat Buffalo 14-10. Doyle (one goal, four assists) reached 1,000 career points, become just the third player to hit the mark. Buffalo’s John Tavares (1,420) and Rochester’s Gary Gait (1,139) are Nos. 1 and 2.
