The Denver Broncos have increased their lead on the rest of the league in the latest Associated Press NFL power rankings, pulling in 11 of 12 first-place votes after Seattle suffered its first loss of the season.
Not many teams can give up 48 points in one game and stay in the top spot, but that’s the marvel of Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. He guided Denver to a 51-48 victory over Dallas.
New Orleans surged into second place in the Pro32 rankings released Tuesday. The Saints are one of three unbeaten teams left in the NFL.
The Seahawks fell from second to third after losing 34-28 at Indianapolis. The Colts moved up from sixth to fifth. Kansas City is the other 5-0 squad, and the Chiefs inched up from fifth to fourth.
