Ballots and voters’ pamphlets for the Nov. 5 general election will be mailed this week.
Snohomish County elections officials will mail ballots Thursday.
Every residential address around south Snohomish County will get both a local voters’ pamphlet from the county auditor’s office and a statewide pamphlet from the secretary of state’s office.
Both were sent by bulk mail Wednesday.
Registered voters can leave their completed ballots at 24-hour drop boxes at the Edmonds Library, in front of the Lynnwood City Hall, at McCollum Park south of Everett, at the county courthouse campus in Everett or at seven other sites around the county,
The boxes have been available since Sept. 20, when county officials mailed military and overseas ballots. They will be open through 8 p.m. election day.
County elections manager Garth Fell said that some completed ballots from military voters already have arrived by mail.
Early military ballots may come from domestic sites as well as overseas.
Mailed ballots must be sent so they are postmarked by election day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
People can vote in person at an accessible voting unit at the county auditor’s office in Everett any business day, starting Friday, from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. and on election day from 7 a.m. through 8 p.m. They also can use an accessible unit at the Lynnwood library Monday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m., and election day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
