SEATTLE — A Seattle drawbridge was stuck open for more than an hour Friday, snarling traffic on a heavily used corridor.
The city Transportation Department said the Ballard Bridge experienced mechanical issues starting about 9:30 a.m. Friday that made it unable to close after it opened for boat traffic.
Police are rerouted traffic to other bridges over the Lake Washington Ship Canal.
