Look who’s back: Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) returns to “CSI” to help the team solve a cold case and mark the show’s milestone 300th episode. 10 p.m., CBS.
Break out the peanuts and Cracker Jack, baseball’s Fall Classic, the World Series, is here. The best-of-seven-game showdown begins in the home ballpark of the American League champ. After a few cameo appearances, Edward Norton makes his maiden voyage as host of “Saturday Night Live.” The show’s musical guest is Janelle Monae. 11:30 p.m., NBC.
