Football | Mountlake Terrace

The Hawks running back rushed for 283 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries to help Mountlake Terrace to a 28-14 win over Shorecrest.

Counting the votes: Herald prep editor Aaron Swaney and Herald writers David Krueger and Jon Saperstein voted for Ragsdale. Herald writer Aaron Lommers voted for Joseph Binda Jr. and Cascade’s Kejuan Coleman won the fan vote.

Girls soccer | Edmonds-Woodway

The Warriors forward scored a pair of goals in a win over Kamiak and then had a goal and two assists in a win over Mariner as E-W remained tied with Jackson for first place in the Wesco 4A South.

Volleyball | Lake Stevens

The Vikings outside hitter had 18 kills, seven digs and was 22-for-22 serving with three aces as Lake Stevens beat Jackson in five sets and nine digs and 13 kills in a four-set win over Mount Vernon as Lake Stevens remained unbeaten.

Peter Cung

Boys tennis | Jackson

The Timberwolves No. 2 singles player went 2-0 to run his record to 15-1 on the season as Jackson finished the season unbeaten for the fifth straight season.
