CAMAS — Police in the southwest Washington community of Camas say they’ve arrested a 21-year-old man after more than a dozen headstones were toppled in the Camas cemetery, many of them in the pioneer section.
Some of the headstones broke.
Sgt. Scot Boyles said Thursday that police arrested Michael Garwood, of Camas, for investigation of 15 counts of violating laws protecting cemeteries and one count of malicious mischief.
Police say others may also be involved and the investigation continues.
