Prep volleyball: Darrington 3, Friday Harbor 0

DARRINGTON -- Riley Anderson had 34 assists to direct an efficient Darrington offense as the Loggers swept Friday Harbor 25-10, 25-15, 25-19 on Monday.
"We played really well, we had (only) six hitting errors," said Loggers head coach Greg Powell. "They were very tall and a good blocking team, we're not ... we were able to outlast them in a lot of rallies."
Jordyn Stafford led Darrington with 12 kills and Amy Miles added eight kills and two aces. The Loggers ended the regular season on a five-game winning streak and finished in second place in the Northwest 1A/2B League. Darrington will play Orcas Island on Friday at the District 1 2B Tournament.
