EVERETT — Police on Wednesday evening were searching south Everett for a suspected bank robber.
The holdup was reported just after 5 p.m. at the Banner Bank in the 8500 block of Evergreen Way, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said.
A man entered the bank with a T-shirt over his head and a black umbrella in his hand, Snell said.
“He implied a weapon and demanded cash,” Snell said.
The man was last seen running southbound on Evergreen Way. He was described as white and about 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He wore a white T-shirt, a black jacket and dark pants.
He had medium-length reddish hair, Snell said.
A police dog was brought in to follow his trail.
