LYNNWOOD — A woman was injured Thursday night after being struck by a sport utility vehicle on Highway 99 near Lynnwood.
The collision was reported just before 5 p.m. south of Lincoln Way, said trooper Mark Francis with the Washington State Patrol.
Witnesses told troopers the woman had been standing on a raised-curb median before apparently walking into southbound traffic, Francis said.
She was struck by the driver’s side mirror. The woman was taken to a local hospital with a potential broken ankle.
The investigation was ongoing Thursday evening. No other details were available.
