500 vandalisms in Portland cause $300,000 damage

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police are asking the public for tips to help solve hundreds of vehicle vandalisms in Portland
Police say more than 500 vehicles have had tires punctured since late May, causing more than $300,000 in damage.
The vandals are targeting SUVs, trucks and vans parked on the street. Vandals also are slashing convertible roofs and motorcycle seats.
Police don't know yet if the cases are related.
