Man found naked in girls' locker room arrested

MARYSVILLE -- A man found naked in a local high-school girls' locker room earlier this week allegedly told police that he had soiled himself and only went in there to clean up.
A janitor found the man sitting naked in a shower stall with his clothes on his lap. The incident was reported just before 6:30 p.m. Monday at Marysville Getchell High School, during a girls' soccer game, according to the arrest affidavit.
The Getchell school resource officer warned other schools in the area about the incident, records show. Officers caught up with the suspect Thursday.
The Marysville man, 50, reportedly told officers that he didn't know it was the girls' locker room. He said he had intestinal problems. He reportedly said, "I have no interest in students."
He was arrested and booked for investigation of second-degree burglary with sexual motivation. He was being held Friday at the Snohomish County Jail. He has no serious criminal history.
