As a retired teacher in the Everett School District, I am enthusiastically supporting Ted Wenta for the Everett School Board, casting my vote for someone with strong convictions and the right qualifications to help lead the district. Our school community is extremely fortunate that Ted has stepped forward to enter this race, bringing his common sense approach and sharp mind to the complex issues our district faces as it strives to improve learning at all levels for all students.
As someone who has worked closely with Ted on Everett YMCA youth programs, where he serves as executive director, I have observed him as a thoughtful listener who researches facts, gathers information from many sources, and decisively makes decisions. I respect the expertise he’s developed, both fiscal and managerial, knowing these skills will serve him and our students, staff and parents well as a vital member of our school board.
As a community member, Ted has engaged himself in many service projects and committees that make Everett a more vibrant city. His life’s work has been centered on creating productive, thriving youth and stronger families in our area, and I have watched him grow into the kind of leader I want making decisions for our schools.
My husband Ray and I ask you to join us in voting for Ted Wenta for the Everett School Board. You will be casting your vote for a qualified leader who will bring expertise, passion and commitment to our board.
