ARLINGTON — An Arlington woman was flown to a Seattle hospital with life-threatening injuries Sunday evening after a two-vehicle crash in the 18800 block of 67th Avenue NE.
Detectives from Arlington Police Department and the Snohomish County sheriff’s Collision Investigations Unit were called to what was a complex crash scene, police spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.
Officers closed 67th Avenue between 188th and Woodlands Drive for more than four hours.
The collision occurred around 5:15 p.m.
Witnesses reported that a GMC pickup truck, driven by a Marysville man, 44, crossed the centerline and collided with a Chrysler 300. The driver of the car was an Arlington woman, 35.
The Marysville man was taken by Arlington police to Cascade Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash continues, Banfield said.
