OROVILLE — The Washington State Patrol says six people were hurt, including a pedestrian, in a car crash in Oroville that involved two suspected drunk drivers.
KOMO-TV reported that a 44-year-old woman was driving south on U.S. 97 about 5 miles south of Oroville in north central Washington. She attempted to turn left in front of a northbound pickup being driven by a 27-year-old man and the two vehicles collided.
One vehicle headed toward two pedestrians. The troopers say one pedestrian managed to push the other out of the way before he was struck.
Both drivers, the pedestrian, and three passengers, including an infant, 4-year-old girl and a 19-year-old girl, were all taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Troopers say both drivers will be investigated for driving under the influence.
