SPOKANE — Former Gonzaga basketball player Winston Brooks was one of five new police officers sworn in Tuesday in Spokane.
Brooks was a Bulldog point guard for the teams from 2001 to 2003.
KHQ-TV reported he also has worked with the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, police and as a Spokane County juvenile corrections officer.
Former Gonzaga star and NBA Hall of Fame player John Stockton was one of the people at the officers’ swearing-in ceremony to congratulate Brooks.
