A little fuzzy on the meaning of ‘positive’

Another Rob Ford crack? Despite demands from city officials that he step down following his admission that he smoked crack cocaine and bought illegal drugs, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford vowed to remain in office and insisted he was a "positive role model for kids."

Kids, if your only choice of positive role models is between Miley Cyrus and Rob Ford, go with the twerker and not the tweeker.

Different kind of Christmas Tree: The town of North Pole, Alaska, is considering a proposal for a half-mile drag strip next to the North Pole Speedway. A racing club spokesman said the strip would make public roads safer by keeping racers off the streets.

North Pole police also said they're tired of St. Nick pulling out his Naughty or Nice List every time they pull him over for racing his sleigh.

A rose among thorns: Trailing only California and New York, Washington state's health insurance exchange has signed up more people than any other state in the nation.

But then comparing your numbers against the dismal registration numbers of healthcare.gov is a little like calling yourself a better mayor than Rob Ford.
