Song of the week: 'Swift Arrows' by Shelby Earl

Last Friday night, Shelby Earl performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Hartley Mansion in Everett. This week Rollingstone.com premiered her new video for her song "Swift Arrows."

"Swift Arrows" is the title track off of Shelby's new album that was released earlier this year and was produced by Damien Jurado (my favorite). Every song on this album is great and I have been thinking of using 'Swift Arrows' or 'The Seer' for a song of the week. The new video Shelby released this week helped me make that decision.

The video for 'Swift Arrows' is packed with plenty of shock factor making for a wild mix of heartbreaking, twisted and funny. It works.

It should be noted that this video is not safe for work but when you get a chance you should check it out.

Here is the link to the Rolling Stone story about Shelby Earl and her new video for "Swift Arrows."
