The city of Mountlake Terrace was awarded a $75,000 grant for building a therapy pool at the Recreation Pavilion from The Verdant Health Commission Public Hospital District No. 2 Building Healthy Communities Fund.
The Verdant Health Commission serves nearly 240,000 people in the communities of Brier, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Woodway and portions of Bothell and unincorporated Snohomish County.

New decking will be installed around the pool that will offer better access for people with mobility problems. The new therapy pool will be made available for physical therapists for their rehabilitation of patients, drop-in customers and for fitness classes.
