PORT ORCHARD — Kitsap County prosecutors won their first victory in a human trafficking trial Tuesday when a jury convicted a Port Orchard man of prostituting a young woman.
The Kitsap Sun reported 34-year-old Anthony Dewayne Parker faces at least 25 years in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 13 in Superior Court.
His lawyer argued the woman had free will, but the jury convicted Parker of 11 charges, including kidnapping, assault and promoting prostitution.
