MUKILTEO — The Mukilteo Library will be closed from Dec. 10-12 for electrical improvements.
The Coupeville Library also has a similar closure planned for Wednesday.
Book holds at both libraries will be extended for a week, according to a news release. Crews are expected to work on the libraries’ emergency power systems.
The buildings then are supposed to have light, heat and Internet access in case of an emergency.
The libraries’ bookdrops will not be available during the closure.
Mukilteo customers should go to Lynnwood or Edmonds instead. Coupeville customers should go to Freeland or Oak Harbor.
People should double-check re-opening times on the library system website, www.sno-isle.org, in case of delays.
