First doghouse: President Barack Obama set the Twitters abuzz Tuesday after he posed for a selfie with British Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at a memorial service for Nelson Mandela at a soccer stadium in South Africa. In a series of follow-up photos, Obama yuks it up with Thorning-Schmidt while first lady Michelle Obama looks on, looking decidedly unamused. Did we mention that Thorning-Schmidt is a blonde?
If those photos are any guide, we trust Air Force One has a comfortable couch for the president to sleep on during the long ride home.
Hail to the chief(s): The Obamas hosted George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, on Air Force One for the journey to South Africa.
The former president made no headlines during the event; The Buzz guesses this must mean Mrs. Bush restrained him from photobombing the Obama selfie.
Talk to the hand: Also at the Mandela service, Obama shook hands with Cuban leader Raul Castro, raising eyebrows among conservatives.
Perhaps Obama told Castro he was looking forward to watching Cuban defector José Dariel Abreu Correa play for the White Sox next season.
