Caregivers, family and friends who care for someone with dementia can get support and guidance from a free showing of a film called “It’s All in Your Approach,” from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stillaguamish Senior Center.
The film presentation is by Teepa Snow, a nationally known longtime advocate and resource for those living with dementia or caring for someone. Families and caregivers can learn how to handle the distress of the patient as well as their own frustrations in caring for someone with brain impairment.
Registration is required by calling 360-653-4551 or e-mailing caregiver@stillycenter.com. The Stillaguamish Senior Center is at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington.
