The Seahawks are off the field after Thursday’s practice a couple of players sat out who didn’t appear on Wednesday’s report. Guard J.R. Sweezy (concussion) and CB Jeremy Lane (ankle) did not practice, which means the injuries likely happened Wednesday, while RB Robert Turbin was listed as limited with a groin injury, which likely means it happened at some point during Thursday’s practice. There is no Pete Carroll availability on Thursdays, so we’ll have to wait until Friday for an update. Though in the case of Sweezy, assuming that concussion happened Wednesday, there is very little chance he could be cleared for Sunday’s game the way the league’s concussion protocol works, because it takes several days of testing to clear a player (when a player is concussed in a Sunday game, he usually doesn’t get clearance until the end of that week).
