Fallen power lines trap woman inside her vehicle near Shelton

SHELTON -- Officials say a piece of equipment on a train pulled down power lines in Shelton, trapping a woman inside her vehicle.
The Shelton Police Department said the train pulled down or broke three power polls and likely damaged others during the Thursday morning accident. The downed wires left one motorist trapped inside her car for about an hour. Authorities say no injuries have been reported.
The police department says the cause appears to be a piece of large equipment on the westbound lumber train. The equipment caught a span of wires.
Crews were working to restore power to the surrounding area on Thursday afternoon.
