Some NFL playoff teams are having a hard time selling out playoff games (we’re looking at you, Cincinnati and Indianapolis). That isn’t an issue in Seattle.

NFC Divisional Playoff game at @CenturyLink_Fld is sold out.
— Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) December 31, 2013
Less than half an hour after playoff tickets for their Jan. 11 playoff game went on sale, the Seahawks announced the game was sold out. That hardly comes as a surprise considering A. how popular the Seahawks are these days, and B. there weren’t that many tickets available. The Seahawks have 62,000 season ticket holders, and it’s safe to assume the vast majority of them opted to buy playoff tickets, which means only 6,000 or so seats were available.
The Seahawks will host New Orleans, Green Bay or San Francisco at 1:35 p.m. on Jan. 11 in the divisional round of the playoffs. Win that game and they’ll host the NFC Championship game the following weekend. Here’s guessing those tickets wouldn’t last very long either.
