Pajama Family Storytime will be held again at 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Snohomish Library, 311 Maple Ave. The monthly family event includes stories, songs, fingerplays and fun. A craft may follow.

Succeed: Job workshop series starts Jan. 15
The first session in an eight-part “Get the Job!” series will be held 6-8 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Everett Public Library Evergreen branch, 9512 Evergreen Way, Everett.
The first workshop, “Finding the Right Job for You,” helps students explore jobs that are a good fit for their skills and interests as well as jobs that meet labor market needs.
The free series is cosponsored by Goodwill and is first-come, first-served.

Walk: A wet tour of the woods at Brightwater
Dress warm, wear rubber boots, and join nature guides at Brightwater Center for an exploration of the woods in winter. The tour will take place on the trails around the wastewater treatment plant and education center, rain or shine.
Warm beverages and a story by the fire finish off the fun. Recommended for families with kids ages 3 and up. The event is free, but registration is required at www.eventbrite.com.

Recycle: Free Christmas tree drop-off
Recycle your Christmas trees for free at Everett Community College between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays through Jan. 30.
Trees must be free of decorations, tinsel and other nonbiodegradable materials. No flocked trees will be accepted.

An opening on the Conservation Futures Technical Advisory Group representing unincorporated Island County
Citizen member representatives on each of the three county commissioner districts to serve on the Law &Justice Council
