After reading the article on Monroe dropping traffic cameras, it made me even happier that I live in Lynnwood. I drive through Lynnwood every day, and because of the traffic cameras, I know that there will never be a T-bone accident happen to me or my family. I’ve never thought about the revenue they bring in or what it is used for, I only think how safe it is for all drivers and their families.
Why in the world would Monroe drop them, or any other city for that matter? I am very disappointed that people don’t think of the safety these cameras bring, not only in school zones, but throughout the cities.
I am thankful to live in Lynnwood, and I’ve never had to pay for a ticket, because I follow the rules and drive safely.
