Crab Fest is here
The Camano Center holds its annual Crab Fest from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Attendees can cheer the Seahawks in the playoff game and feast on crab and two kinds of “Seahawks brews.”
Only 350 tickets, at $25 each, will be sold. The cost includes a whole Dungeness crab, sides and dessert. Two beers cost $5 more.
Live bluegrass music will follow the game. The dinner is at Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road.

Mountlake Terrace fixing streets: A construction project to improve 228th Street SW and Cedar Way begins in Mountlake Terrace this week. The road will be re-channeled and widened in places, and bike lanes added, according to a city news release. In addition, crosswalks in the area will get beacons that flash to warn drivers about pedestrians. Call 425-744-6276 for more information.
Seahawks weather: Anticipating greater-than-usual interest in downtown Seattle weather this weekend, the National Weather Service has set up a special forecast Web page pinpointing Saturday afternoon at CenturyLink Field, where the Seattle Seahawks will play the New Orleans Saints.

“As the week wears on, the forecast will be fine-tuned,” said forecaster Ted Buehner.
