Everett vs. Moose Jaw lineup notes, Winquist suspended

EVERETT

Forward lines:

Jones-Hayer-Sandhu

Leedahl-Khaira-Stadnyk

Low-Bauml-Aasman

Fonteyne-Nikolishin-Bajkov

Defensive pairings:

Betker-Juulsen

Mueller-Davis

MacDonald-Adam

Goaltenders:

Lotz

Cotton

Scratches: Pufahl, Laurencelle, DeRoose, Winquist.

Notes: Everett plays without leading scorer Joshua Winquist, who has been suspended by the league for a length yet to be determined for his kneeing major penalty Friday against Spokane. With defenseman Matt Pufahl (ribs) out, the Tips play without two of their three overagers. Winquist is replaced in the lineup by 16-year-old Matt Fonteyne. Otherwise, Everett’s lineup is the same as Friday’s.

One other note. Center Ty Mappin was called up by Saskatoon today and is in the Blades’ lineup, meaning the Tips will be getting at least a seventh-round bantam pick in 2015 out of the deadline-day deal. That can be upgraded to a fifth if Mappin is with the Blades at a specific date next season.

MOOSE JAW

Forward lines:

Eberle-Point-White

Potomak-Fioretti-Cooke

Uhrich-Gore-Warkentine

Duperreault-McCarthy-Chirva

Defensive pairings:

Forsberg-Sleptsov

Brown-Jensen

Johnson-Valentine

Goaltenders:

Paulic

Willms

Scratches: Rodewald, Bowen, Zalitach, Sawchenko.

Notes: Moose Jaw suffered three injuries in Friday night’s 8-2 loss at Portland, as winger Jack Rodewald, defenseman Reid Zalitach and goaltender Zach Sawchenko all went down. The Warriors called up 15-year-old Brody Willms to serve as the emergency back-up. Another 15-year-old call-up, center Ryan Bowen, ends up being surplus to requirements.
