VANCOUVER, Wash. — Two women crossing a street were struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Sunday night in Vancouver.
Police said that Raisa Mosh, 45, died at the scene and Irina Gardinant, 28, died later of her injuries.
The Columbian reported that Mosh’s 12-year-old son was walking with them but not injured.
Spokeswoman Kim Kapp said police are looking for a white pickup, believed to be a Toyota Tundra, that likely has front-end damage.
In addition, police are looking for a black pickup that was at the scene. Kapp said that driver could be a witness or may also have struck the pedestrians.
They were hit as the white pickup made a turn at Northeast 72nd and Vancouver Mall Drive.
