OAK HARBOR — Police are warning residents about Daniel M. Christianson, a convicted sex offender who will be living in the Oak Harbor area.
A public meeting is planned for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Heller Road Fire Station, 2720 Heller Road, Oak Harbor, according to the Island County Sheriff’s Office.
Christianson, 34, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend. He is expected to be homeless after his release, set for next week.
Christianson was convicted in Snohomish County in 2001 of second-degree rape and second-degree attempted robbery. The victim in the rape was an adult woman.
He is described as black, 5-foot-11 and 188 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, and sometimes has shaved his head.
