Spokane pharmacy robbery suspects have records

SPOKANE — Two people arrested in a string of pharmacy robberies in Spokane have criminal records.
Police arrested Phillip J. Powlus, 35, and his girlfriend Jacy L. Thomson, 33, on Wednesday after the most recent robbery.
The Spokesman-Review reports they appeared in court Thursday and were ordered held in jail for investigation of robbery and drug charges.
They are accused in five of the eight robberies of painkiller pills this month at pharmacies in grocery stores at Spokane.
Powlus has a record of five felony convictions including burglary and drug offenses. Thomson also has five felony convictions including robbery and theft.
KXLY reports that at the time of her arrest Thomson was hiding 171 Oxycontin pills that were discovered when she was asked to give a urine sample.
