Everett vs. Portland lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:
Winquist-Khaira-Stadnyk
Fonteyne-Bauml-Bajkov
Leedahl-Low-Nikolishin
DeRoose-Laurencelle

Defensive pairings:
Mueller-Davis
MacDonald-Juulsen
Wharrie-Adam.

Goaltenders:
Lotz
Cotton

Scratches: Pufahl, Betker, Sandhu, Hayer, Aasman, Jones.

Notes: Injuries have once again piled up as the four-in-five has taken its toll on the Tips. Forwards Manraj Hayer and Tyler Sandhu join the injury list with unspecified knocks suffered Saturday night against Seattle. They join defensemen Matt Pufahl (ribs) and Ben Betker (lower body) and forwards Zane Jones (upper body) and Logan Aasman (finger) in the stands. Defenseman Carter Cochrane, who was called up for the game in Kent, has returned to his team, but defenseman Jordan Wharrie is called up again as the Tips shuffle their affiliated players. Defenseman Noah Juulsen is also back after serving his one-game suspension for his kneeing major penalty Friday at Portland. Nevertheless, Everett plays one short and with three 16-year-old defensemen against the highest-scoring team in the league.

PORTLAND

Forward lines:
Iverson-Turgeon-Schoenborn
Leipsic-Petan-Bittner
Leier-De Leo-Bjorkstrand
Predinchuk-De Champlain-Price

Defensive pairings:
Cederholm-Dumba
Pouliot-Hanson
Texeira-Haar

Goaltenders:
Burke
Boes

Scratches: Rossignol, Viveiros.

Notes: Portland is at full strength. This is the first time fans at Comcast Arena will see defenseman Mathew Dumba in a Winterhawks uniform.
