DUVALL — Unlike last Friday night, the Sultan boys basketball team made a charge in the fourth quarter for a big win Tuesday.
After scoring only one point in the final quarter in a loss to King’s four days ago, the Turks outscord Cedarcrest 20-12 in the fourth quarter to edge the Red Wolves 60-56 in a key Cascade Conference game and end a four-game skid.
Sultan’s Giovonni Williams scored 25 points in the win and Deion Bonilla added 10.
Cedarcrest was led by Jordan Corpus, who hit six 3-pointers and ended with a game-high 26 points.
